FLAGSHIP  is a ship agency company with own/associated offices in all Turkish ports. The company was established on 14th May 2019 and is founded by Osman Bilgin and Kaan Polat, who started their shipping career in the same ship agency company more than two decades ago.

 

Osman Bilgin, a graduate of Maritime Faculty in Izmir, has further pursued his shipping career in the ship supply field and has been an entrepreneur as a founder of various successful companies. Beside holding positions at non-governmental organizations and shipping related associations, he is also the the founder and chairman of ‘Mare Group’ and related companies. 

Kaan Polat was the Director of a major ship agency company for about 25 years, prior to setting up FLAGSHIP.
He managed a dedicated agency team who has expanded their client base from year to year for the last 10 years, despite the general downturn in the shipping industry at the time. The key members of his previous team have also joined him in FLAGSHIP.  Kaan has acted as the res. Board Member of ‘Maritime Association of Shipowners and Agents’ in Istanbul and has established strong connections with both the local and the international shipping world at all levels.

Both Flagship Ship Agencies and Mare Group are able to share resources and local expertise in their related fields for the benefit of their clients.

We have fully staffed offices at both ends of the Straits, Canakkale and Istanbul ports.

Our Marine Services team is pleased to offer vessel owners calling at Tuzla & Yalova Dry Docks, in the Istanbul region, full Agency and logistical support. We guarantee round-the-clock attendance from the professional and experienced Agency personnel, full daily status reports and effective disbursement account management.

Our close working relationships with all Tuzla and Yalova Dry- Docks, Customs, Immigration and Security bodies,combined with our total familiarity of all local formalities, ensures a smooth and swift movement of personnel, crew, spares and equipment to and from our client’s vessel. Tankers – Crude, clean, LPG, chemical, LNG

We guarantee on time supply of high quality provisions, deck engine and yard stores, all competitively and locally sourced from professional and reputable companies. Our own airport escort and transfer service will take extra care of your crew and personnel. Local accommodation from hotels to short-term leases and vehicle hire are also available. Our 24- hour airport team is ready to ensure a same day clearance and delivery of spares and equipment.
